Islamabad Cops demand ‘Online Bribe’ from Citizens

(MANEND NEWS): An FIR was registered against police officials for taking bribes in Islamabad’s Shahzad Town Police Station on Tuesday.

The police officials stopped some people in the picket and allegedly demanded Rs2000 in cash and Rs500 online.

Both cops including a ‘Pathan’ Police personnel and another hailed from Sargodha, demanded cash ‘money’ and via the online money transfer platform easypaisa.

According to the FIR text, victims claimed both cops demanded bribes otherwise a case would be filed against them.
