(MANEND NEWS): A web series based on the life of Fatima Jinnah, the sister of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and a prominent leader of the Pakistan Movement, is set to release its first part on August 14, the Independence Day of Pakistan. The web series, titled “Fatima Jinnah: Sister | Revolutionist | Stateswoman”, is directed by Danial K Afzal and features three talented actresses who will portray Fatima Jinnah in different phases of her life. Sundus Farhan will play Fatima Jinnah in her 30s during the pre-partition era, Sajal Aly will play her in her 50s during the Independence era, and Samiya Mumtaz will play her in her 70s during the post-partition era. The first part of the web series will focus on Fatima Jinnah’s role as a sister and a loyal companion to Quaid-e-Azam, who led the struggle for the creation of Pakistan.
