PESHAWAR, (MANEND NEWS): Chief Engineer (South) Nasir Ghafoor Khan along with Canal Collector (South) Gohar Ali on visit crossing River Swat in local arrangements for supervising the diversion process at Munda Headworks. Diversion activities for effectively feeding water to the Lower Swat Canal, Tangi Lift Irrigation Scheme and Doaba Canal. A government to government contract between Irrigation Department and WAPDA. WAPDA whom already had multibillion rupees contractor already available at site for construction of Momand Dam and the same has been mobilised to immediately give relief to the general public. It shows the positive relationship with the Federal Agencies of the Provincial Irrigation Department at the time of major floods and relief from it. A positive role played by Chief Engineer (South) and his team.
