Graduation Ceremony for UNICEF held at University of Peshawar

Peshawar (Manend News) Graduation Ceremony for UNICEF Social and Behaviour Change Social Action Project held at University of Peshawar*
The UNICEF Social and Behaviour Change Social Action Project Showcasing and Graduation Ceremony was held on Dec 5, 2025 at Business Incubation Centre, University of Peshawar. The event was joined by the distinguished guests, faculty members, UNICEF representatives and the students representing the SAP Groups.
The event was attended by Guest, Mr. Radek, CFO, UNICEF, KP; Guest of Honour, Pro VC, Prof. Dr. Naeem Qazi, University of Peshawar; Dr. Ikramullah, Director REVAMP, Department of Health, KP; Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Jan, HOD, Department of Economics, University of Peshawar; Prof. Dr. Basharat Hussain, Chairman, Department of Criminology, University of Peshawar; Mr. Sohail Khan, SBC Officer, UNICEF; Mr. Abbass Khan, SBC Consultant, UNICEF, and Dr. Muhammad Ibrar, Assistant Professor, Department of Criminology and Deputy Director, University of Peshawar Students’ Societies, University of Peshawar.
The UNICEF Social and Behaviour Change Project included a Volunteer Task Forced of 175 students from various districts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Social Action Projects were conducted on seven thematic areas including Child Immunization, Child Marriages, Violence against Children, Handwashing Campaign, Out of School Children and Girls Education, and Birth Registration.
The Social Action Projects were conducted in the respective communities of the SAP Teams and the activity impacts and challenges were reflected in their SAP Presentations.
The event saw the presentations from the Social Action Projects Teams. The winning teams were determined by their SAP Activities and their presentations. The teams were appreciated by the UNICEF Representatives and awarded with Shields. The event was concluded with a Shield distribution among the guests and the UNICEF representatives and certificates among the students.
