PIA plane carrying anti-Covid vaccine reaches Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): A special PIA plane carrying another
two million doses of anti-Covid vaccine, sinovac arrived in Islamabad
from China.
The National Command and Operation Center (NDMA) officials received
the vaccine at Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday.
According to the NDMA officials, Pakistan is purchasing the vaccine
from the international market. There will be a significant increase in
daily vaccinations with the arrival of more vaccines.
The officials further said that the vaccine was imported from China and
soon will be dispatched to all the vaccination centers across country.
All the arrangements have been made accordingly.
Meanwhile Pakistan has reported 39 deaths in the last 24 hours by
novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to

950,768. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 22,073 on
Wednesday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 930 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in
the past 24 hours.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases
followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 10,672 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 5,358 in Sindh, 4,280 in KP, 775 in Islamabad, 574 in Azad
Kashmir, 303 in Balochistan, and 111 in GB.
