ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-
N) President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Mian
Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that the killing of a Muslim family
of Pakistani origin in Canada is a premeditated act undertaken out of
hate.
In a statement issued on social media on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif said
that it points to a surge in Islamophobia in Western societies, adding
that our thoughts and prayers go out to the bereaved family who lost
members of three generations
Shehbaz Sharif said that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s
statement that there is no place for Islamophobia in Canada is
welcome. However, it is high time the efforts were initiated to nip the
evil in the bud through deep engagement between Islamic world and
the West, Shehbaz Sharif said.
