LAHORE, (MANEND NEWS): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and
Political Affairs Committee Chairman Liaqat Baloch has said that
accountability for all was the national demand but Prime Minister
Imran Khan and his team while making accountability process as
suspicious and unilateral protected the corrupt mafia instead of
carrying out their accountability.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Liaqat Baloch said that National
Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and
ant-corruption departments are national institutions but the
government ministers and spokespersons through their irresponsible
attitude have made these institutions as disputed in the eyes of the
masses. He said that now the government is also announcing no
confidence on the performance of NAB and through this NAB institution
has been placed on the wall.
Liaqat Baloch said that if the government would have brought 436
people named in Panama scandal to justice then it would have not to
see the defamation and disrespect today, adding that the government
claim that the economy has been improved is a severe kind of joke
with the poor and middle class. He said that price spiral,
unemployment, corruption and bribery taken in the government
departments have become fatal for the masses.
Liaqat Baloch said that for overcoming the economic crisis there is
need to end interest, corruption, loans and should have to follow
Islamic economic system. He said that for self reliance there is need to
give priority to agriculture progress and should have to restore the
confidence of investors, traders, businessmen, laborers, skilled
workers and overseas Pakistanis. He said that the economy could not
be revived through loans, begging bowl, corruption and false claims.
He said that bowing before the IMF and FATF is real destruction.
He said that Kashmir, Palestine and Afghanistan are alive issues of
Muslim Ummah, adding that the blood is continuously shedding from
these wounds and unity of the Muslim Ummah is the only solution of
the issues of the Muslim Ummah. He said that on the call of Jamaat-e-
Islami Pakistan the Al-Quds Marches remained successful in whole
country including Islamabad, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Karachi. He
said that the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will make the
Labbaik Al-Quds Million March on 30th May in Peshawar as historic.
Liaqat Baloch said that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue to support the
unity of the Ummah and the people of Kashmir, Palestine and
Afghanistan on the basis of the words of Allah (KalimatUllah). Truth
will prevail, falsehood will fail (InshaAllah!).
