ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 113 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel
coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 864,557. The nationwide tally of fatalities has
jumped to 19,106 on Tuesday. So far 766,492 patients have recovered in the country. The COVID
Positivity Ratio was recorded at 7.93 percent. So far 1,751,707 people have been partially vaccinated;
meanwhile during the last 24 hours 92,142 people have been partially vaccinated for coronavirus in the
country. So far 938,948 people have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus in the country; meanwhile
9,396 people have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile so far total
3,629,065 coronavirus dozes have been administered and during last 24 hours 101,538 dozes have been
administered.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 3,084 persons
tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile the number of active coronavirus patients and daily reported coronavirus patients are
increasing day by day after the start of the third coronavirus wave in the country. The number of active
coronavirus cases has crossed the 78 thousand mark; meanwhile only in Punjab province the active
coronavirus cases have crossed the number of 37 thousand.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2 percent; meanwhile the number of
recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 88.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 4,387 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 4,859 critical coronavirus patients present in the
country. There are 78,959 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at fist position in number of total reported coronavirus
cases, deaths from coronavirus pandemic, active coronavirus patients and recovery of coronavirus
patients in the country and Sindh province is on the second position. On the other hand federal capital
Islamabad has come on third position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 10,233 active
coronavirus patients present in Islamabad. There are 17,963 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 37,595 in Punjab, 9,666 active coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,405 in Balochistan, 1,985 in
Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 112 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The percentage of deaths from coronavirus patients in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is 3 percent, in
Islamabad 1 percent, Gilgit-Baltistan 2 percent, Balochistan 1 percent, in Punjab 3 percent, in Sindh 2
percent and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3 percent.
320,851 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 293,426 in Sindh, 124,979 in Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa, 78,382 in Islamabad, 23,534 in Balochistan, 17,984 in Azad Kashmir and 5,401 in Gilgit-
Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 12,267,310 coronavirus tests and 38,883 in the last 24 hours.
So far 9,125 coronavirus patients have died in Punjab, 4,753 in Sindh, 3,644 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 716
in Islamabad, 107 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 253 in Balochistan and 508 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
So far 270,131 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 274,131 coronavirus patients have
recovered in Punjab, 111,669 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 67,433
coronaviurs patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 21,876 coronavirus patients have been
recovered in Balochistan, 15,491 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 5,182 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
