ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 67 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 649,824. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
14,158 on Saturday. So far 593,282 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 4,468 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile the number of active coronavirus patients and daily
reported coronavirus patients are increasing day by day after the start
of the third coronavirus wave in the country. The number of active
coronavirus cases has crossed the 40 thousand mark; meanwhile only
in Punjab province the active coronavirus cases have crossed the
number of 20 thousand.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91.3 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,137 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,842 critical
coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 42,384 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of total
reported coronavirus cases and recovery of coronavirus patients in the
country. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in number of
deaths from the coronavirus and active coronavirus patients in the
country. On the other hand federal capital Islamabad has come on the
second position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 7,878
active coronavirus patients present in Islamabad. There are 4,357
active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 21,309 in Punjab, 7,316
active coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 225 in Balochistan, 1,272
in Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 29 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 264,355 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
210,095 in Punjab 83,630 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 55,056 in
Islamabad, 19,453 in Balochistan, 12,245 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,990 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 6,190 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,487 in Sindh, 2,274 in KP, 557 in Islamabad, 342 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 205 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 10,021,070 coronavirus tests and 44,279 in the last
24 hours.
So far 255,511 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 182,596
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 74,046 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 46,623 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 19,023 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 10,631 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,858
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
