MARDAN, (MANEND NEWS): A delegation of the central organization of traders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Mardan Chamber of Commerce met with Federal Minister of Finance Miftah Ismail regarding the current illegal sales tax on electricity, fuel price adjustment, and property tax in Islamabad.
A delegation of traders from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Central Trade Organization President Sharafat Ali Mubarak and Central Trade Organization Provincial General Secretary Zahir Shah Khan Mardan Chamber of Commerce Vice President Fayyaz Khan headed by Federal Minister of Finance Miftah Ismail in Islamabad. The delegation of Central Organization Traders Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told Miftah Ismail Federal Minister of Finance that electricity is generated from water in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, so applying fuel price adjustment to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is completely excessive and unfair. On which the Federal Minister for Finance said that it will also be increased to 250 units in consultation with the Prime Minister, thanks to which small entrepreneurs will not come into the tax net.
