Tangi (Manend News) The Holy Quran was allegedly burnt in Mandani area of Tangi Tehsil. Police arrested the accused who allegedly burnt the Holy Quran. Angry people gathered in large numbers and uprooted the gate of Mandani Police Station. Angry people are demanding that the accused be handed over to them. Enraged people try to storm Mandani Police Station. Police used aerial firing, baton charges and tear gas to disperse angry mobs. Heavy Platoons police personnel requisitioned. The situation is tense. Protesters blocked Hari Chand Highway for all kinds of traffic.
