Timergara(Manend News) Two persons were killed and one was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car at Sad Barkaly Bazaar in the Samarbagh tehsil here on Wednesday, the police said.
They said family members of one Amal Khan of Qandari area were travelling in the vehicle when rivals opened fire on it. They said that the victims’ family had a land dispute with a rival family.
The firing left Amal Khan, the family head, dead on the spot, while two passersby, identified as Deedan Syed and Rizwan, 12, were injured.
The injured were taken to a local hospital, where Deedan Syed succumbed to injuries. The injured boy, a resident of Kas Koto, was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Timergara. The residents said the accused escaped the scene after the crime.
