Swat (Manend News) Malaysian Palm Oil Board and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority jointly organizes awareness seminar on Edible Oil in Swat, In collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board organized a seminar on the usefulness of palm oil here on Friday. Regional Director Food Authority Asad Qasim, Special Representative of the Malaysian Government Jahuri Manal, Swat Trade Federation President Abdul Rahim and other business representatives attended. Asad Qasim welcomed the distinguished guests and held a detailed meeting with the business representatives involved in the use of edible oil. He also apprised the participants about the role of Food Authority in providing quality edible oil to the people. He also commended the efforts of the Malaysian Government in this regard and assured the representatives of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board of their support in such endeavors in the public interest. Special Representative of the Malaysian Government Jahuri Manal and his team elaborated on the features and benefits of Palm Oil. At the end of the seminar, Asad Qasim distributed shields among the participants. The Deputy Director said that along with inspections, such seminars would be organized regularly by the Food Authority to create awareness among the people about safe food so as to ensure safe and clean food supply to the people.
