ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Minister for Information and
Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said UAE is the biggest
trading partner of Islamabad and Pakistani pavilion at the upcoming
Dubai Expo will be unique and one of its kind.
Talking to United Arab Emirates Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-
Zaabi in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the ministries of commerce
and information are making strenuous efforts for the mega event.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said UAE is home to 1.6 million Pakistanis,
the second highest number of Pakistani citizens anywhere in the world.
He said Pakistani diaspora in UAE has a great role in promoting people
to people contacts between the two countries.
Talking about situation in Afghanistan, the Minister said peace and
stability in Afghanistan is in the best interest of the region.
He said Pakistan made sincere efforts for peace and stability in
Afghanistan and its role in evacuation of foreigners from Kabul has
greatly been appreciated. Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador
lauded Pakistan’s role for regional stability, especially peace in
Afghanistan.
