ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 74 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 900,552. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
20,251 on Sunday. So far 817,681 patients have recovered in the
country whereas. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 4.96
percent on Sunday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 3,084 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 90.8 percent. During the last 24 hours 3,826 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 4,392 critical
coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 62,620 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at fist position in
number of total reported coronavirus cases, deaths from coronavirus
pandemic, active coronavirus patients and recovery of coronavirus
patients in the country and Sindh province is on the second position.
On the other hand federal capital Islamabad has come on third
position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 7,628 active
coronavirus patients present in Islamabad. There are 22,212 active
coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 22,764 in Punjab, 6,248 active
coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,016 in Balochistan, 1,668 in
Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 84 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The percentage of deaths from coronavirus patients in Azad Jammu
and Kashmir is 3 percent, in Islamabad 1 percent, Gilgit-Baltistan 2
percent, Balochistan 1 percent, in Punjab 3 percent, in Sindh 2 percent
and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3 percent.
Till now 9,768 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,909 in Sindh, 3,924 in KP, 745 in Islamabad, 528 in Azad
Kashmir, 270 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.
Furthermore 333,971 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in
Punjab, 308,118 in Sindh, 129,413 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 80,312 in
Islamabad, 24,517 in Balochistan, 18,739 in Azad Kashmir and 5,482
in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 12,779,296
coronavirus tests and 62,061 in the last 24 hours.
So far 280,997 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 300,439
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 119,241 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 71,939 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 23,231 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 16,543 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 5,291
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
