Batkhela (Maned Rep) A passenger coach fell into a ditch on the Swat Motorway, killing five people. According to details, a passenger coach full of passengers skidded off the Swat Expressway in Ala Dhandheri Patak and fell into a ravine. Five people lost their lives in the accident while 17 people were seriously injured and were rushed to the hospital. The condition of some of the injured is critical. The driver managed to escape, according to the post commander of the Ala Dhandheri Post, Muhammad Riaz. The unfortunate traffic accident occurred in the Ala Dhandheri Patak area of Malakand district. The flying coach going from Swabi to Swat lost control of the driver due to high speed and fell into a ravine. As a result, five people including Adil son of Islam, resident of Buner, Ifthar son of Ghulam Muhammad, resident of Swabi, Warshia Bibi, Laiba Bibi, daughter of Shah Faisal, resident of Swabi, died on the spot while 17 people were seriously injured. The bodies and the injured were immediately shifted to Batkhela Hospital. Upon receiving the information, Deputy Commissioner Malakand Fayyaz Khan Sherpao, Levies Post Ala Dhandheri Dheri Post Commander Muhammad Riyaz, Subedar Major Nek Rehman, Assistant Commissioner Batkhela Shakeel Ahmed, Malakand Levies and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to DHQ Hospital Batkhela. From there, four injured were referred to hospitals in Peshawar and Swat due to their critical condition. However, the driver Khalidul Masr Khan Sanka Swabi managed to escape from the spot. Sources said that the death toll is likely to increase. The injured include men, women and children.
