Reham Khan Announces Formation of Pakistan Republic Party

Karachi (By Najeeb Khan)Reham Khan has officially announced the formation of her new political party during a press conference held at the Karachi Press Club. The party has been named Pakistan Republic Party.

Addressing the media, Reham Khan stated that her party aims to raise its voice for the resolution of public issues and to hold those in power accountable. She remarked that Pakistan has witnessed prime ministers who found out about key government decisions either from their spouses or through television, adding that such systems are at the root of the country’s problems. According to her, the purpose of the new party is to challenge this mindset and ensure greater public inclusion in the political process.

So far, no detailed manifesto, organizational structure, or leadership framework has been presented. The press conference did not include any mention of a future political roadmap or electoral strategy.

In Pakistan’s political landscape, it has historically been challenging for new parties to establish a strong footing. Several emerging political groups in the past have either failed to make an impact or were eventually merged with larger, more dominant parties. There is also a noted trend where newly launched parties contribute to splitting the existing vote bank.

At this stage, it is too early to predict the political direction, objectives, or public reception of the Pakistan Republic Party. Its future standing will largely depend on its upcoming strategy, official manifesto, and public engagement.
