MURREE, (MANEND NEWS): Liaqat Baloch, Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-
Islami Pakistan and Secretary General Milli Yakjehti Council, while
addressing a gathering at Adsiyah Jamia Masjid Murree, inaugurating
the public library and acknowledgment of services condolence
reference for the late teachers, said that the Prophet Muhammad
(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was a great teacher and
the role model for teachers of every age is the standard of Khatam-ul-
Anbiya (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Liaqat Baloch said that the learned teacher proves to be a blessing of
Allah for the new generation and the architect of the nation for their
mental and character building. It is the responsibility of the
governments and policy makers to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare
state and to harmonize the education system with its goals. He said
that it is a tragedy that the education system is being secularized
under the guise of uniform education and protection of the rights of
minorities.
Liaqat Baloch said that in the name of enforcing the Waqf Property
Act, the claimant government of the state of Madinah, religious
education and publication under the global obscene agenda in the
name of preventing domestic violence, measures are being taken to
stop the provision of resources for religious purposes in mosques and
madrassas.
Liaqat Baloch said that it is astonishing that under the umbrella of the
PTI government, secular, Qadyani, liberal forces are destroying
Pakistan’s Islamic ideology, civilization and education with all their
might. The national leadership must unite to protect national priorities
and Pakistan’s Islamic character.
In a meeting with the Afghan youth delegation, Liaqat Baloch said that
there is a deep bond of Islamic love and devotion between the people
of Pakistan and Afghanistan. For Afghans, Pakistan is their second
home. The Afghan people have a long history of freedom, courage and
perseverance in Islam. Talented Afghan youth have become role
models for movements around the world struggling to overcome
domination and colonial power.
Liaqat Baloch said that the Taliban are the voice and representative of
the conscience of the overwhelming majority of the Afghan people.
Afghanistan needs peace, stability and democracy. Stop all foreign
interference in Afghanistan and the Taliban must map out the strategy
adopted by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on
the occasion of the Conquest of Makkah, he said.
