ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 29 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 962,313. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
22,408 on Sunday. So far 907,284 patients have recovered in the
country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,228 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
So far 13,736, 438 people have been partially vaccinated for
coronavirus in Pakistan; meanwhile during the last 24 hours 230,913
people were administered coronavirus vaccine. So far 3,264,313
people have been completely vaccinated in Pakistan and during the
last 24 hours 57,382 people have been vaccinated for coronavirus in
whole country. So far 17,000,751 dozes of coronavirus vaccine have
been administered in country; meanwhile during the last 24 hours
288,295 coronavirus vaccine dozes were administered in whole
country.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.3
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 94.3 percent. During the last 24 hours 897 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,875 critical
coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 32,621 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Punjab province has become at first position in
number of total reported coronavirus cases, deaths from coronavirus
pandemic and recovery of coronavirus patients in the country and
Sindh province is on the second position. Meanwhile Sindh province
has come on first position in terms of active coronavirus cases in the
country. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has come
on third position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 1,591
active coronavirus patients present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are
20,011 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 8,203 in Punjab,
1,093 active coronavirus in Islamabad, 744 in Balochistan, 520 in Azad
Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 459 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The percentage of deaths from coronavirus patients in Azad Jammu
and Kashmir is 3 percent, in Islamabad 1 percent, Gilgit-Baltistan 2
percent, Balochistan 1 percent, in Punjab 3 percent, in Sindh 2 percent
and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 3 percent.
Till now 10,772 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 5,512 in Sindh, 4,336 in KP, 779 in Islamabad, 586 in Azad
Kashmir, 312 in Balochistan, and 111 in GB.
Furthermore 346,728 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in
Punjab, 339,962 in Sindh, 138,421 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,916 in
Islamabad, 27,387 in Balochistan, 20,505 in Azad Kashmir and 6,394
in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistan has so far conducted 14,733,030
coronavirus tests and 47,832 in the last 24 hours.
So far 314,439 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 327,753
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 132,494 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 81,044 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 26,331 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 19,399 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 5,824
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
