Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyr five more
Kashmiri youth in Shopian & Islamabad districts

SRINAGAR, (MANEND NEWS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and
Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism
have martyred five more Kashmiri youth in Shopian and Islamabad
districts, taking the number of the martyred youth in the territory to
12 since Thursday.
Three youth were martyred by the troops during cordon and search
operations in Hadipora area of Shopian while another two youth were
martyred in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district.
IOK Police on Sunday said that three unidentified militants have been
killed whose identification is being ascertained while as operation is on
in the area. “Militants turned down repeated surrender offers offered
to them by forces.”
A police spokesman claimed that a joint team of Police, Army’s 34 RR
and CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific
information about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the
suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, which was
retaliated, triggering an encounter.
Twelve militants belonging to Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH), Al-Badr
and Lashker-e-Toiba outfits, were killed by the security forces in
Kashmir within the last 72 hours, Director General of Police Dilbag
Singh claimed on Sunday.

A local news agency quoted Singh as saying that seven among the
slain militants belonged to AGuH including the outfit’s chief, while
three were from Al-Badr and two were affiliated with LeT/TRF.

The two from LeT/TRF were “hardcore local militants” and involved in
the killing of a TA soldier at Bijbehara Anantnag on April 9. Singh said
the duo was “active for long and wanted in many cases”.
The DGP further said that with the killing of seven AGuH militants at
Tral and Shopian, the outfit has been “fully eliminated”.
