SRINAGAR, (MANEND NEWS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and
Kashmir (IIOJK), Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism
have martyred three Kashmiri more youth in Pulwama district on
Friday.
The youth were martyred by troops during a cordon and search
operation in Kakpora area of the district.
The martyrdom of the youth triggered forceful anti-India
demonstrations in the area. The protesters raised high-pitched pro-
freedom and anti-India slogans. Several persons, including a girl, were
injured due to the firing of Indian troops on the demonstrators.
Meanwhile Inspector General of Police IIOJK Vijay Kumar on Friday
claimed that militants involved in Thursday’s attack on BJP leader in
which one policeman was killed were among the slain during a
gunfight at Kakapora area in Pulwama district.
Police’s weapon, snatched by the militants, was also recovered”, IGP
said. IGP congratulated police and security forces for killing militants
responsible for yesterday’s attack in less than 24 hours.
A policeman, Rameez Raja was killed in the militant attack at the
residence of a BJP leader in Aribagh in Nowgam area of Srinagar on
Thursday afternoon. The militants had also decamped with a rifle of
the policeman who was posted on guard duties at the BJP leader
Anwar Khan. The BJP leader was not at his residence, when the
militants carried out the attack.
