ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 63 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 640,988. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
14,028 on Thursday. So far 588,975 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC), 3,946 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile the number of active coronavirus patients and daily
reported coronavirus patients are increasing day by day after the start
of the third coronavirus wave in the country.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91.9 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,747 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,587 critical
coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 37,895 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of total
reported coronavirus cases and recovery of coronavirus patients in the
country. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in number of
deaths from the coronavirus and active coronavirus patients in the
country. On the other hand federal capital Islamabad has come on the
second position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 6,823
active coronavirus patients present in Islamabad. There are 4,086
active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 19,320 in Punjab, 6,370
active coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 204 in Balochistan, 1,166
in Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 16 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 263,815 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
205,314 in Punjab, 81,787 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 19,395 in
Balochistan, 53,684 in Islamabad, 12,016 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,977 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore, 6,099 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab, 4,482 in Sindh, 2,246 in KP, 205 in Balochistan, 554 in
Islamabad, 339 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 103 in GB. Pakistan
has so far conducted 9,934,373 coronavirus tests and 38,858 in the
last 24 hours.
So far 255,247 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 179,895
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 73,171 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 46,307 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,986 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 10,511 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,858
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
