ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 30 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 637,042. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
13,965 on Wednesday. So far 586,228 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 3,301 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile the number of active coronavirus patients and daily
reported coronavirus patients are increasing day by day after the start
of the third coronavirus wave in the country.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 92 percent. During the last 24 hours 957 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,564 critical
coronavirus patients present in the country. There are 36,849 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of total
reported coronavirus cases and recovery of coronavirus patients in the
country. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in number of
deaths from the coronavirus and active coronavirus patients in the
country. On the other hand federal capital Islamabad has come on the
second position in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 6,517
active coronavirus patients present in Islamabad. There are 5,201
active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 17,753 in Punjab, 6,018
active coronavirus in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 196 in Balochistan, 1,148
in Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 16 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 263,664 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
202,743 in Punjab 81,204 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 53,136 in
Islamabad, 19,374 in Balochistan, 11,946 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,975 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 6,048 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,482 in Sindh, 2,238 in KP, 552 in Islamabad, 339 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 203 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 9,895,515 coronavirus tests and 38,282 in the last 24
hours.
So far 253,981 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 178,942
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 72,948 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 46,067 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,975 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 10,459 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,856
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
