Riaz Khan inaugurates new Rescue 1122 building at a cost of Rs 41.1 million in Pir Baba Gadzi Buner

(MANEND NEWS): Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Communication and Works (C&W) Riaz Khan has said that Rescue 1122 personnel risk their lives to save the lives of others.  He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the new building of Rescue 1122 at Pir Baba Gadzi Buner.  The new building is being constructed at a cost of Rs 41.1 million.  Director Planning Hassan Dad and concerned officers besides Xen C&W Tahir Jamil Khan TMO Amin Khan and elders of the area were present in large numbers on the occasion.  In the inauguration ceremony, Riaz Khan inspected the well-equipped ambulances, fire brigade vehicles and other facilities of Rescue 1122.  On this occasion, the District Emergency Officer gave a detailed briefing to the Special Assistant regarding Rescue 1122.  Special Assistant Riaz Khan said that he was laying the foundation of this service for Pir Baba and other areas and would implement this plan on an emergency basis and give gifts to the people in the form of rescue service.  He said that the present government has ended discrimination between rich and poor and now everyone is getting the same facilities. He said that it is very easy to criticize but it is difficult to work. “Before the 2018 elections, Buner was mired in darkness and despair and we have eradicated that atmosphere of darkness and despair forever,” he said.  He further said that he had restored the confidence of the people in all government departments and made them accountable to the people. He appreciated the services of the rescue workers and said that their professional handling of the rescue matters help saving precious lives in remote areas of the province.
