TTP organizing again from Afghanistan: Sheikh Rasheed claims

ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Federal Interior Minister Sheikh
Rasheed Ahmed has claimed that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is
organizing again from Afghanistan adding that the brave soldiers of
security forces have sacrificed their lives to defeat terrorism.
Talking to media here on Monday he said that the police personnel
have ensured peace in the country by risking their lives. Sheikh Rashid
further told that Karachi and Islamabad are under terror threats.
The reaction came after at least five terrorists were killed in encounter
with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Mastung on Sunday
night.
The CTD personnel conducted an operation in Isplinji area of Mastung
in Balochistan province on intelligence report during which terrorists
hiding in a house opened fire.
The CTD personnel, in retaliation, killed five terrorists while their
accomplices managed to escape from the scene due to darkness.
Separately, security forces killed four terrorists during Intelligence
Based operations (IBO) in North and South Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces
conducted IBOs on terrorist hideouts in Data Khel and Zoida areas of
Waziristan.
During exchange of fire, four terrorists including TTP commander
Abdul Adam were killed.
