ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 38 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 588,728. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
13,166 on Saturday. So far 558,210 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,714 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 94.8 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,441 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,545 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 17,352 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,305 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 6,170 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 5,943 in Punjab, 2,097 in Islamabad, 115 in Balochistan, 718 in
Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 4 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 259,392 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
175,964 in Punjab 73,515 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 45,329 in
Islamabad, 19,106 in Balochistan, 10,464 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,958 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,534 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,411 in Sindh, 2,104 in KP, 506 in Islamabad, 309 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 9,173,593 coronavirus tests and 38,200 in the last 24
hours.
So far 248,811 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 164,487
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 69,106 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 42,726 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,791 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 9,437 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,852
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
