ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 64 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 585,435. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
13,076 on Thursday. So far 555,242 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,519 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 94.8 percent. During the last 24 hours 987 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,559 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 17,117 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,235 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 6,332 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 5,718 in Punjab, 1,999 in Islamabad, 111 in Balochistan, 717 in
Azad Jammu and Jammu and Kashmir and 5 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 258,904 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
174,191 in Punjab 73,007 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44,921 in
Islamabad, 19,084 in Balochistan, 10,371 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,957 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,480 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,388 in Sindh, 2,096 in KP, 503 in Islamabad, 307 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 9,097,413 coronavirus tests and 40,473 in the last 24
hours.
So far 248,184 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 162,993
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 68,676 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 42,419 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,773 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 9,347 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,850
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
