ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 42 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 582,528. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,938 on Tuesday. So far 547,406 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,163 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 94 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,035 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,529 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 22,184 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,305 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 11,845 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 5,397 in Punjab, 1,812 in Islamabad, 104 in Balochistan, 712 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 9 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 258,412 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
172,683 in Punjab 72,615 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44,516 in
Islamabad, 19,066 in Balochistan, 10,280 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,956 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,391 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,353 in Sindh, 2,085 in KP, 501 in Islamabad, 306 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 9,022,124 coronavirus tests and 31,948 in the last 24
hours.
So far 242,214 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 161,895
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 68,225 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 42,203 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,762 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 9,262 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,845
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
