ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 23 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 579,973. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,860 on Sunday. So far 545,277 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,176 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 94 percent. During the last 24 hours 871 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,562 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 21,836 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,066 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 12,181 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 5,002 in Punjab, 1,768 in Islamabad, 100 in Balochistan, 706 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 13 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 258,004 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
171,349 in Punjab 72,162 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44,259 in
Islamabad, 19,045 in Balochistan, 10,198 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,956 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,350 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,343 in Sindh, 2,072 in KP, 496 in Islamabad, 297 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,951,838 coronavirus tests and 38,920 in the last 24
hours.
So far 241,480 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 160,997
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 68,024 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 41,995 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,745 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 9,195 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,841
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
