ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 64 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 575,941. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,772 on Thursday. So far 539,888 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,361 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 93.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 1681 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,590 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 23,281 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,984 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 12,096 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 6,707 in Punjab, 1,767 in Islamabad, 79 in Balochistan, 629 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 17 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 257,089 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
169,474 in Punjab 71,490 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 43,901 in
Islamabad, 19,010 in Balochistan, 10,022 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,955 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,308 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,315 in Sindh, 2,058 in KP, 494 in Islamabad, 296 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 199 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,831,892 coronavirus tests and 40,906 in the last 24
hours.
So far 240,676 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 157,459
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 67,448 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 41,640 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,732 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 9,097 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,836
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
