ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 41 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 573,384. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,658 on Tuesday. So far 536,243 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,050 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 93.5 percent. During the last 24 hours 752 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,616 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 24,483 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,096 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 12,866 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 7,163 in Punjab, 1,679 in Islamabad, 81 in Balochistan, 575 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 23 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 256,445 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
168,348 in Punjab 71,146 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 43,623 in
Islamabad, 18,993 in Balochistan, 9,878 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,951 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,237 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,293 in Sindh, 2,043 in KP, 493 in Islamabad, 291 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 199 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,752,533 coronavirus tests and 33,978 in the last 24
hours.
So far 239,286 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 155,948
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 67,007 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 41,451 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,713 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 9,012 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,826
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
