ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 52 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 567,261. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,488 on Thursday. So far 530,597 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,272 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 93.5 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,052 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,666 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 24,176 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,051 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 13,044 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 6,934 in Punjab, 1,512 in Islamabad, 91 in Balochistan, 514 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 30 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 254,678 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
165,716 in Punjab 70,306 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 43,029 in
Islamabad, 18,958 in Balochistan, 9,629 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,945 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,138 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,263 in Sindh, 2,015 in KP, 487 in Islamabad, 284 in Azad
Jammu Kashmir, 199 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has so
far conducted 8,567,761 coronavirus tests and 36,543 in the last 24
hours.
So far 237,371 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 153,644
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 66,240 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 41,030 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,668 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,831 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,813
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
