ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 56 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 565,989. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,436 on Wednesday. So far 528,545 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,165 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 93.4 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,484 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,662 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 25,008 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,132 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 13,543 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 7,217 in Punjab, 1,512 in Islamabad, 88 in Balochistan, 487 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 29 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 254,286 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
165,200 in Punjab 70,123 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 42,921 in
Islamabad, 18,954 in Balochistan, 9,562 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,943 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,114 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,244 in Sindh, 2,007 in KP, 486 in Islamabad, 284 in Azad
and Jammu Kashmir, 199 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,531,218 coronavirus tests and 33,196 in the last 24
hours.
So far 236,499 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 152,869
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 65,984 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 40,923 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,667 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,791 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,812
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
