ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 26 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 564,077. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,333 on Monday. So far 525,997 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC), 1,048 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 93.2 percent. During the last 24 hours 910 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,680 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 25,747 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,349 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 14,073 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 7,321 in Punjab, 1,402 in Islamabad, 88 in Balochistan, 481 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 33 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 253,762 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
164,268 in Punjab, 69,990 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,942 in
Balochistan, 42,688 in Islamabad, 9,487 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,940 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,051 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab, 4,219 in Sindh, 1,995 in KP, 199 in Balochistan, 486 in
Islamabad, 281 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 102 in GB. Pakistan
has so far conducted 8,466,117 coronavirus tests and 32,019 in the
last 24 hours.
So far 235,470 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 151,896
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 65,646 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 40,800 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,655 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,725 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,805
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
