ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 58 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 561,625. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,276 on Saturday. So far 523,700 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,262 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 93.2 percent. During the last 24 hours 5,536 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,692 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 25,649 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,051 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 14,307 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 7,357 in Punjab, 1,355 in Islamabad, 92 in Balochistan, 457 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 30 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 253,090 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
163,367 in Punjab 69,386 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 42,513 in
Islamabad, 18,924 in Balochistan, 9,408 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,937 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,026 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,199 in Sindh, 1,986 in KP, 484 in Islamabad, 281 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 197 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,399,623 coronavirus tests and 37,115 in the last 24
hours.
So far 234,584 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 150,349
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 65,349 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 40,674 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,634 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,670 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,805
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
