ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 62 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 557,591. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
12,128 on Wednesday. So far 514,951 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,072 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 92.4 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,008 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,744 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 30,512 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2,163 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 19,009 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 7,541 in Punjab, 1,258 in Islamabad, 82 in Balochistan, 436 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 23 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 251,758 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
161,757 in Punjab 68,786 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 42,188 in
Islamabad, 18,891 in Balochistan, 9,291 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,920 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,948 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,157 in Sindh, 1,970 in KP, 481 in Islamabad, 273 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 197 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,288,091 coronavirus tests and 31,713 in the last 24
hours.
So far 228,592 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 149,268
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 64,653 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 40,449 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,612 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,582 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,795
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
