Pakistan reports 59 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus

ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 59 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 555,511. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 12,026 on Monday. So far 511,502 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,037 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 92.1 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,260 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,828 critical coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 31,983 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.

According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 2, 462 active coronavirus patients are present in KP. There are 19,370 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 8,350 in Punjab, 1,273 in Islamabad, 92 in Balochistan, 417 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 19 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Till now 251,047 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 160,935 in Punjab 68,531 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,994 in Islamabad, 18,869 in Balochistan, 9,219 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,916 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 4,900 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,119 in Sindh, 1,957 in KP, 480 in Islamabad, 272 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 196 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has so far conducted 8,224,869 coronavirus tests and 32,149 in the last 24 hours.

So far 227,558 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 147,685 coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 64,112 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 40,241 coronaviurs patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,581 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,530 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,795 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
