ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 28 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 553,128. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
11,886 on Saturday. So far 508,700 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,286 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.2
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 92 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,198 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,908 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 32,514 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2, 433 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 19,225 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 9,073 in Punjab, 1,267 in Islamabad, 95 in Balochistan, 402 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 19 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 250,043 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
160,162 in Punjab 68,180 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,819 in
Islamabad, 18,849 in Balochistan, 9,160 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,915 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,854 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,066 in Sindh, 1,948 in KP, 478 in Islamabad, 270 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 196 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has
so far conducted 8,155,766 coronavirus tests and 33,319 in the last 24
hours.
So far 226,752 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 146,235
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 63,799 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 40,074 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,558 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,488 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,794
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
