ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 31 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 550,540. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
11,833 on Thursday. So far 505,818 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,508 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91.9 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,772 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,971 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 32,889 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2, 638 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 18,866 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 9,569 in Punjab, 1,306 in Islamabad, 108 in Balochistan, 386 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 16 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 248,919 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
159,311 in Punjab 67,803 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,655 in
Islamabad, 18,840 in Balochistan, 9,100 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,912 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,821 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,036 in Sindh, 1,931 in KP, 478 in Islamabad, 269 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 196 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 8,085,427 coronavirus tests and 35,460
in the last 24 hours.
So far 226,017 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 144,921
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 63,234 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 39,871 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,536 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,445 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,794
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
