ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 63 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 547,648. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
11,746 on Tuesday. So far 502,537 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,220 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91.8 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,285 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 1,181critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 33,365 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2, 970 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 18,740 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 9,775 in Punjab, 1,342 in Islamabad, 137 in Balochistan, 382 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 19 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 247,727 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
158,220 in Punjab 67,419 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,493 in
Islamabad, 18,830 in Balochistan, 9,050 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,909 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,793 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 4,004 in Sindh, 1,912 in KP, 475 in Islamabad, 264 in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir, 196 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 8,005,794 coronavirus tests and 38,813
in the last 24 hours.
So far 224,983 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 143,652
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 62,537 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 39,676 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,497 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,404 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,788
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
