ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 26 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 546,428. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
11,683 on Monday. So far 501,252 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,615 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,278 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,092 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 33,493 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 2, 923 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 18,589 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 10,060 in Punjab, 1,381 in Islamabad, 149 in Balochistan, 371
in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 20 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 247,249 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
157,796 in Punjab 67,214 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,418 in
Islamabad, 18,823 in Balochistan, 9,019 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir
and 4,909 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,747 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 3,996 in Sindh, 1,906 in KP, 475 in Islamabad, 262 in Azad
Jammu Kashmir, 195 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 7,966,981 coronavirus tests and 34,785
in the last 24 hours.
So far 224,664 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 142,989
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 62,385 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 39,562 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,479 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,386 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,787
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
