Pakistan reports 64 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus

ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 64 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 539,387. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 11,514 on Thursday. So far 494,578 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,910 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1 percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus has reached 91.7 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,371 coronavirus patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,147 critical coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 33,295 active coronavirus cases presenting the country.

According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active coroanvirus cases. There are 2,866 active coronavirus patients are present in KP. There are 17,689 active coronavirus patients present in Sindh, 10,599 in Punjab, 1,525 in Islamabad, 238 in Balochistan, 355 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 23 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Till now 243,683 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 155,805 in Punjab 66,198 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,076 in Islamabad, 18,788 in Balochistan, 8,931 in Azad Kashmir and 4,906 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 4,661 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,957 in Sindh, 1,870 in KP, 472 in Islamabad, 259 in Azad Kashmir, 193 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB. Pakistan has so far conducted 7,804,935 coronavirus tests and 40,821 in the last 24 hours.

So far 222,037 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 140,5457 coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 61,462 coronavirus patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 39,079 coronaviurs patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,357 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,317 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,781 coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
