ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 74 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 537,477. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
11,450 on Wednesday. So far 492,207 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC) 1,563 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91.6 percent. During the last 24 hours 2,081 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,165 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 33,820 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 3,146 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 17,865 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 10,681 in Punjab, 1,533 in Islamabad, 257 in Balochistan, 322
in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 20 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 242,793 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
155,214 in Punjab 65,953 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 40,972 in
Islamabad, 18,765 in Balochistan, 8,877 in Azad Kashmir and 4,903 in
Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,646 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab 3,925 in Sindh, 1,857 in KP, 469 in Islamabad, 258 in Azad
Kashmir, 193 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 7,764,114 coronavirus tests and 41,285
in the last 24 hours.
So far 221,007 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 139,887
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 60,950 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 38,970 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 18,315 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 8,297 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,781
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
