ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 52 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 492,594. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
10,461 here on Wednesday. So far 448,393 coronavirus patients have
recovered in the country.
According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC), 2,118 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 91 percent. During the last 24 hours 4,033 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,243 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 33,740 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 3,235 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 18,290 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 9,099 in Punjab, 2,490 in Islamabad, 237 in Balochistan, 334 in
Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 55 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 220,501 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
142,058 in Punjab, 59,955 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,280 in
Balochistan, 38,531 in Islamabad, 8,396 in Azad Kashmir and 4,873 in
Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,184 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab, 3,634 in Sindh, 1,695 in KP, 186 in Balochistan, 432 in
Islamabad, 229 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 101 in GB. Pakistan
has so far conducted 6,923,857 coronavirus tests and 38,917 in the
last 24 hours.
So far 198,577 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 128,775
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 55,025 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 35,609 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 17,857 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 7,833 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,717
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
