ISLAMABAD, (MANEND NEWS): Pakistan has reported 59 deaths in the
last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has
surged to 490,476. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to
10,409 on Friday. So far 444,360 coronavirus patients have recovered
in the country.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and
Operation Center (NCOC), 1,947 persons tested positive for COVID-19
in the past 24 hours.
The death rate from the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan is 2.1
percent; meanwhile the number of recovered patients of coronavirus
has reached 90.6 percent. During the last 24 hours 1,903 coronavirus
patients were recovered in the country. There are 2,219 critical
coronaviurs patients present in the country. There are 35,707 active
coronavirus cases presenting the country.
According to NCOC, Sindh province is at the top in number of
coronavirus cases, recovery of patients and number of active
coronavirus cases. Meanwhile Punjab province is at first position in
number of deaths from the coronavirus. On the other hand Khyber
Pakhtunkhawa province is at number three in terms of active
coroanvirus cases. There are 3,378 active coronavirus patients are
present in KP. There are 17,959 active coronavirus patients present in
Sindh, 11,008 in Punjab, 2,714 in Islamabad, 240 in Balochistan, 356
in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 52 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Till now 219,452 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh,
141,393 in Punjab, 59,729 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,254 in
Balochistan, 38,395 in Islamabad, 8,383 in Azad Kashmir and 4,870 in
Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 4,160 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in
Punjab, 3,623 in Sindh, 1,683 in KP, 185 in Balochistan, 428 in
Islamabad, 229 in Azad Kashmir and 101 in GB. Pakistan has so far
conducted 6,884,940 coronavirus tests and 35,073 in the last 24
hours.
So far 197,870 coronavirus patients have recovered in Sindh, 126,225
coronavirus patients have recovered in Punjab, 54,668 coronavirus
patients have recovered in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, 35,253 coronaviurs
patients have been recovered in Islamabad, 17,829 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Balochistan, 7,798 coronavirus
patients have been recovered in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 4,717
coronavirus patients have been recovered in Gilgit-Baltistan.
